Bio:

Adrik was an architect and inventor by profession, as well as a devout follower of Erathis, the goddess of civilization. He was born and raised in Hammerfast, a dwarven hold in the Dawnforge Mountains. He moved to Fallcrest years ago to help in its rebuilding. He worked with the town guard by building fortifications and defenses. The town has also implemented many of his inventions for town defense. He has many friends among the Fallcrast Guard and in the Temple of Erathis.

One day while exploring some of the town ruins, he and some guards went underground and were suddenly surrounded by a swarm of dire rats. Adrik doesn’t remember much of this encounter, however the only surviving guard, who brought Adrik back to town tried to explain it to him. When the two other guards were killed, a great power was unleashed from within Adrik. He started bursting thunder and lighting at the rats, until they were all dead. Ever since, he has had the ability to invoke godlike powers from within him. That day he became an invoker of Erathis’ wrath.

Until then he was an average looking dwarf. However, over the next few weeks, he noticed a physical change as well. He grew taller, and now stands at about 5’4”; much taller than any normal dwarf. His hair changed to a silver color, as well. His eyes turned black. His skin became pale. He is still obviously dwarven in many features, but looks like no other dwarf anyone in town has seen. He looks – godlike.

Hearing stories of bandits harassing travelers on King’s Road near Gardbury Downs, he headed out to destroy them. He found the gang of bandits and managed to defeat them. However he nearly died in the process. He knows that he needs a group of adventurers as powerful as him to work with. Therefore, he has asked Erathis to guide him to where he can find a group from which he can serve Erathis and the towns of the Nentir Vale. Using his Hand of Fate ritual, he has been led to the nearby town of Winterhaven. He believes he will find powerful allies there. Together, they will bring about the rise of the next great civilization, more powerful than the fallen empire of Nerath.
